Me: Only if you know.
Jesus: Know what?
Me: Know what it’s like to be in exile! To be away from home! I mean as I say that, I know your parents had to flee to Egypt after your birth! You were too small to remember. They were terrified until an angel came to the rescue.
Jesus: They told me!
Me: Even as they came back home, an angel again came and re-directed them to Nazareth.
Jesus: I heard!
Me: So many times angels interfered in your life. In our exile but in mine…
Jesus: I know what you’re going to say!
Me: What?
Jesus: They never came to you to protect you or to warn you, when you were in danger!
Me: They don’t come to the majority of us. To most of us! We sit in grief! And you sit!
Jesus: I do?
Me: You are too passive!
Jesus: I am?
Me: Well you don’t interfere in a radical way. To change destiny! To stop evil! You did that in your life few times! Why didn’t you at the heart of my pain, of my loss.
Jesus: I don’t interfere the way you want!
Me: I guess I am still here! I am writing this so I am here! So I could say I have been protected!
Jesus: I am always in your “here”!
Me: Even in Exile?
Jesus: Especially in Exile!
Me: But you seem powerless, passive like a baby! What happened to the power that calmed the storm! Interfere! change! Fix! Stop! Act! It’s too much!!!
Jesus: You want me to take over!
Me: Yes! that’s it. Take over! Declare Marshall law! Drive the car! How can you watch!
Jesus: How can I interfere?
Me: Well you seem to interfere randomly. why not here? why not now? why not then!
Jesus: You struggle with this?
Me: I do!
Jesus: You see a part of the picture, you know?
Me: You mean, you are always there, in all things, in all circumstances! mmmm.
Jesus: Yes! You see what you want to see!
Me: You mean you were there all along on that day when it all happened? You were present? Were you present?
Jesus: Were you present?
Me: It was hard. I guess not always. I was grieving! But at times, I am everywhere except present.
Jesus: I was grieving too!
Me: I was scared and in pain!
Jesus: I was scared in your fear and hurt in your pain!
Me: Why didn’t you show yourself?
Jesus: I am here! Present! More present in your pain than you in your own!
Me: Maybe I wanted more!
Jesus: To change the cycle of life?
Me: I am sad, I feel vulnerable and at times alone. I am afraid!
Jesus: I feel you. I feel your aloneness. I was too in exile. I was too afraid! I too grieved!
Me: Aren’t you feeling-less?
Jesus: Am I?
Me: That’s what they tell me! But don’t you ask why? How come?
Jesus: I do! I say thanks too!
Me: Something is growing in my heart as we speak.
Jesus: Tell me more!
Me: I am missing you in the small. I am looking for the big things and missing the small. I feel if you interfere it will all be done. I want it to be that once. But that one time becomes the second time and third… I am sensing I want you to live my life for me, to keep me bullet proof. To drive my life! To do miracle after miracle! to take over!!!
Jesus: I am with you! Here! Within! The big are to remind you that I am here. I am present. To stay within!
Me: You want me to stay within, to live within? Stay with you!
Jesus: I am always withIN you. When you cried I heard you. When you were alone, I was was there. I too cried, was alone and wept. In my crying, in my greiving, in my pain, I embraced the world’s aloneness “once and for all”
Me: You mean for each and everyone.
Jesus: Yes!
Me: So you’re like a first aider, coming in when we most need!
Jesus: They come after, from the outside!
Me: Ahhh, but you are always present IN?
Jesus: I came to be IN! I came Into the World! and I remained IN! I am in! In youre exile! Be with me! Stay with me. Be where I am. Beyond the big show, I am here!
Me: For this moment, Here I am! I am not sure for how long! I am in!
Jesus: Stay with me!
